Some very unexpected and successful finds on the web inspired me to write a little article about wall decals – decorations that can instantly change the whole mood of the nursery.
When it comes to our children we, mothers, always want to give them the best we can and exactly what we didn’t have in our childhood. When I was a little girl, I would always dream about how my room would be full of magic, unicorns and fairy tales.
I would rearrange my toys every now and then to make room for another fairy tale. And our children will never stop dreaming and living those fairy tales and our mission is to provoke that in different ways. By reading, playing and of course decorating.

Another unexpected find that I wish I have discovered earlier: wall decals
I happened to wander into a wonderful place on the web: Stickerinos.com. It is an online shop that specializes in creation and sale of the most wonderful wall decals: various types of floral wall decals, plant wall decals and of course – nursery wall decals.
Now I must warn you, that you will probably spend at least an hour deciding which one to go for and in my case I stopped on a wonderful wall decal called “Castles & Unicorns & Fairytales”.
It was a perfect combination of everything that my little girl loves – unicorns, dragons, rainbows and of course princesses with castles. I was a little hesitant to go for it since I wouldn’t know that size and colour palette would exactly match the nursery, but I decided to go for it and, oh boy, this was the right choice!
The magical result of unicorns and fairytales
It took me maybe 15 minutes to put the wall decal on the wall as the process is very simple, but requires a little more attention just not to spoil any of the parts. Once it was done, my little princess fell in love with the unicorns and fairy tales from the first sight and so did I!
I think this blended in the nursery interior so perfectly, that I immediately went back to stickerinos.com and looked for more inspiration. Then I put my eye on some wall stickers with Bunnies flying on balloons that could be looking amazing on the other side of the room. So overall we still have some room for new magic!
I hope this inspires other people to give wall decals a try. It’s not an expensive piece of decco at the end of the day and sometimes it may do wonders! Hopefully your kids too get to experience some magic in the form of unicorns and fairytales!
